I’ve gone from premed hair, did the big chop in 2005, wore an afro for about a year and a half, did dread locks in 2007 and from locks decided to go natural in 2011. As of February 2011 it took me 5 ½ day to take down the locks. I decided one day that I wanted to show my natural beauty, don’t get me wrong I loved the locks nut they were hiding my natural beauty. I love the fact on being into my native roots and having a natural state. Since taking down the locks I’ve had a hard time with my hair being course, frizzing and a lack of body (it was just rough) until I really research what it really means to be natural.
